Um exemplo de integridade seria o de um profissional cujo poder de decisão pode influenciar os resultados de um cliente, receber "presentes" desse cliente visando um favorecimento futuro. A integridade do profissional é a de manter-se dentro dos limites da ética em sua decisão, sem se deixar influenciar pelos "agrados" de quem quer que seja.
O dicionário define integridade como retidão e honestidade; qualidade de quem é probo, honesto, incorruptível. Honestidade de princípios, de caráter.
